What is a Digital Badge Credential, Anyway?
Digital badge credentials represent a student’s skills, interests, and achievements. They have emerged as a tool to convey practical learning not captured by traditional assessments.
Badges are a more granular and targeted picture of skills than a diploma or résumé. Badges can be verified by reviewing the evidence one submitted to earn the badge.
Technical skills are learned in the classroom and evaluated by trained instructors. MediaMKRS Badges are free for educators to use anywhere and can align with any media-making curriculum.
MediaMKRS Badges are hosted on Credly.com This means they are portable, shareable and meet international tech standards.
